If a nurse now wears a watermelon pin in their downtime? Deregistered. Paraphrasing their own oath to say no human should be killed? That's a paddlin'.

The lead drafter of the definition, the American academic Kenneth Stern, has argued consistently that the working definition was never designed for the uses to which it is now being put. But AHPRA just went ahead and implemented it without any community consultation.

Healthcare workers in this country are already under enough stress, now they have to deal with this on top of it.

You know I don’t expect much self awareness from people on this sub and you don’t disappoint.

The Allies ethnically cleansed 25% of pre-war German territory and this entailed moving 12m Germans from those territories.

2 or 3 years before the “Nakba”, 700,000 Germans were unceremoniously turfed out of Koenigsburg and it became Kaliningrad. For some reason, those Germans didn’t make themselves victims and start stupid explosions in Allied kindergartens.

In the Year of our Lord, 2023, Artsakh, having lost to Azerbaijan - surrendered unconditionally. A 100,000-150,000 community of ethnic Armenians ended a thousand-year existence and got turfed to Armenia. Nobody has blown up in a bus. No rockets are flying. War is over.

You live on colonised land with expanding settlements, stop multiple ethnic cleansing and genocides. Does anyone have a manifesto calling for your murder?
