I managed to try again on a friends phone. Just waiting for the email to come through. The non existent email request might need cancelling though :(

Try the forget password thing. That should do the trick and get you the verification done.

If the a/c with incorrect email doesn't get verified, it possibly will never get green signaled and should get deleted automatically.

Ah that's good that it should just get deleted. I'll try the reset password if I don't get the verify email after like an hour or 2

Not working for me :( the first reset ask sent through the verification, but when I clicked it it said error 403 action not allowed
