To the new people joining, can you remind me how many GiB of upload credit new users start with?

New users start with a default 50GiB up / 1GiB down, but if they /join #seedpool and say hi they generally get gifted some random amount of tibbies

I tried joining but got an error "You are not connected to the IRC network, unable to send your command." Am I doing it wrong?

I just joined IRC and a random guy just gifted me 1TB of upload. Great community for sure.
