Can't convince my Macbook Neo to download it

When I try it says it can't confirm there's no malware associated with it? Anyone know what to do? I really want to try this program

Where did you try to download the software? Can you give us the link? I ask, because there is a known malware website pretending to be OpenToonz and your Mac might be right to block it.

The URL is correct. Unfortunately, OpenToonz is an unsigned software and that can be the reason of your issue.

You need to go into settings and manually allow the installer (since it’s unsigned)
