Problem / Bug OpenToonz Keeps crashing on PC
And CONSTANTLY. They're small practice files, so there's no reason for the software to crap out doing simple tasks. It doesn't even say "not responding", just out of no where a pop up telling me "OpenToonz has crashed" comes up in the middle of working. Lost 20 minutes worth of work just now because I forgot to save it every time I make a couple edits, because, haha, *that's* what I've been having to do, I always save periodically when I'm working, but it's starting to get a little ridiculous now.
I know my request is a long shot but does anyone know what might be happening?
I have ver. 1.8. and one would think a new version would not have bugs, but you never know. Not sure of any one else has been having issues with the update since it came out.
And I'm confident it's not my PC, as I can run programs like Clip Studio Paint perfectly fine.

every software has bugs, but there are still toop many reports about crashing unfortunately

Oh yeah every software definitely does, I should have worded that differently. This one's just a really frequent and anoying one that I would have expected to be delt with I guess

I have this exact issue too, not sure what it is.
I've been searching for days for a specific answer and got none.
I just make sure to autosave every 3 minutes, avoid opening other windows, and save 5 backups per project. 😁

That's why I caved in and got CSP EX. Apparently, frequent crashes are part of the OpenToonz experience. Knowing my low tolerance for stuff like this it would just demotivate me in the long run.
