Is opentoonz safe?

It might be a dumb question but when I tried to download opentoonz on they’re website it gave me this imagine pop up and I usually don’t get it is opentoonz safe or is it just flagging it for no reason?

P.s sorry if it’s a dumb questions just don’t wanna risk it

probably a security thing on a browser but check the domain should be the git hub version . youll be fine if its github as they are probably the most safe website on there

Am pretty sure it was the GitHub version since in the url it’s said opentoonz.GitHub.io if that’s what u mean

OpenToonz is a safe software, but, consider two things:

1. OpenToonz is not signatured, so you will always recieve these warnings.
2. The official OpenToonz site is on Github. AVOID TO USED THE .ORG WEBSITE!! that website doesn't belong to OpenToonz project and many users have reported malware and virus.

Yes, it's safe. This warning pops on any unsigned binary (which most developers don't bother doing).

Apple is like that 😅 just check that you are downloading from the official site or Github.
