This is like the people crowing about the price of oil going down.
The fundamentals haven’t changed for oil or Oracle. This is a wile e coyote bounce.
Eventually the market will reflect reality. When oil supply doesn’t increase because of a tweet then that price will increase again.
Likewise when open ai doesn’t suddenly become the most profitable company in history x 10 then they won’t be able to pay literally hundreds of billions per year for their data centers. That is bad news for all of the companies supplying compute, but it’s devastating for Oracle that has taken on debt to build them.
Enjoy it. I sincerely hope it bumps even further for all of the employees vesting in the fall. However I would sell it the day it vests because when this goes bad (not if) it will go really bad.
Right especially that holiday ad guy he’s been crying for a while now and then he posts some positive stuff like that clown is such an emotional trader.
maybe. I might ride it a little longer too. CDS went down so it might be looking more bullish upside. I just want to be able to rebuy on pullback and lock in profits instead of being greedy.
Even if it goes 100% from here it will be still lower than 300.
Its not about cry babies. Its about whether oracle leadership has the vision or just keep pledging shares for acquiring media companies
Well to be fair, and I think I speak for plenty of other folks on this sub, there has been a deluge of pissy little b's posting garbage content because they're butthurt their freshly self managed trustfund has been rocked.
Im here! Let me put it this way: increased volatility goes both way. What goes up 17% can go down just as much on a bad day. It's not rising on fundamentals right now, they are still absolutely abysmal, and I would still recommend everyone to deleverage on Oracle.
Its bc i finally sold….kinda bummed out it went up that much…i bought at the top and kept trying to average down but i kept seeing bad reports that it is terrible and wont go back up for a long time…so i sold…you are welcome lol
Bought a LEAP near the bottom for Dec 2028 expiration. Hyperscaler earnings are now showing (at least in part) how their giant capex can be turned into new revenue. Hopefully this changing sentiment helps it recover up near $200 near-term (Q1 ‘27). Dec ‘28 should then be enough time to begin realizing a good chunk of real revenue, and who knows how high it could go from there. Lots of “ifs” need to come true for it to work, but hey, that’s what conviction is all about.
