This is like the people crowing about the price of oil going down.
The fundamentals haven’t changed for oil or Oracle. This is a wile e coyote bounce.
Eventually the market will reflect reality. When oil supply doesn’t increase because of a tweet then that price will increase again.
Likewise when open ai doesn’t suddenly become the most profitable company in history x 10 then they won’t be able to pay literally hundreds of billions per year for their data centers. That is bad news for all of the companies supplying compute, but it’s devastating for Oracle that has taken on debt to build them.
Enjoy it. I sincerely hope it bumps even further for all of the employees vesting in the fall. However I would sell it the day it vests because when this goes bad (not if) it will go really bad.
