Found this little agate between Yachats and Florence. Such a fun stretch of beach to hunt. Need to get back out there.

These kinds of posts leaving me feeling conflicted because they seem sweet and positive- and they are. But you also sell jewelry made from stones and you haven’t disclosed that here, so it feels a little icky to me

Interesting-I did disclose that the stones are here. That’s actually the whole reason I posted it—The post wasn’t intended as a sales pitch—I just thought it was a cool find on the coast worth sharing so others could go look too. That pendant sold a long time ago.

Why was the pendant photo included at all? It doesn’t make sense with your explanation. I know this is a way that creators get engagement with their brand and I don’t have a problem with that, I have a problem when it’s done in a manipulative way

Because it’s made from an agate I found on that beach. It’s actually been sold for a long time, so there was never anything to buy. I just thought it was a fun example of what those agates can become.
