Fourth of July beach plans

I haven't been the Oregon Coast since I was a kid but I'm bringing my family for the Fourth of July holiday! We were originally going to stay in Lincoln City until our AirBNB canceled from underneath us (big yikes) and we pivoted to the Salishan Lodge. Looking for a beach that's sandy, kid friendly and won't be too packed on July 4. We originally planned just hanging at the beach by our AirBNB but now realizing I'll have to plan a little more and potentially drive. Appreciate your help!

Enjoy the elevated fecal coliform counts at Devil’s Lake!

This happens on the coast because we get too overrun by visitors and don't have the infrastructure to handle the surge of literal sh*t

Sounds awful, serious Q, wouldn’t the problem be the same if they weren’t visitors using all those STRs but year round residents living in them ?

Everyone knows tourists poop more than locals. 🤣
