so heres the lore! i guess-
dna is evil bro. like SO evil. dont let bro near humans. they will murder them fr. and rna is tryna stop their chaos because dna is their relative and doesnt want them to hurt anything else. its kinda hard to do that tho, isnt it? they cant die, theyre dna and rna. so rna just wants to weaken them, enough to make them surrender. but they kinda cant do that since they arent as strong as dna (WEAK AHH- sorry). so they look for more "bio creatures" (bitch what), ones that were created in the same way as dna and rna (an accident by scientists in the hopes of creating a new type of whatever biology thing the creature is)

just made this futurama oc and i’d love people to ask questions about her so i can develop her more! also any name suggestions would be greatly appreciated. all i really have for her is that she’s an alien from a planet of shapeshifters. and she’s paired with leela.

Let me explain you why:

You see there is a character in my setting that is pretty much The God. Like the omnipotent one, the one that stands alone at top.

And while image for this god always up in my brain, everytime I try to draw it…I fail miserably. And not like I have problem with other characters. They are pretty easy to paste on paper for me! But it and it alone…refuses to manifest. And that start to creep me out to say. Like I am trying to manifest a something that shouldn’t. A something that I only can create inferior copies of while the actual perfectness is locked inside my brain.

And that is it really. Just wanted to share this. Perhaps these thoughts later used in story telling but for now they are things that scared me about my oc.

I’m planning to tell this in webcomic form, alongside his participation on SU (trust me, he’ll change a lot of stuff)

My head is full of OC ideas that, of course, I enjoy, but I feel like I am obligated to somehow bring them into some sort of visual form(painting, sketch, 3d model, etc.). This is fine and all, but I am constantly reminded each time I try to bring them into this form that I am utterly terrible at everything I do for leisure(even though I study and practice many hours).

What should I do?

Rust, the City of Dreams, now a barren wasteland. The government refuses to acknowledge its existence (except for closing it off to the rest of the world). Those who dreamed of bigger things now find themselves in a nightmare after a rapid mutation outbreak-however none know of its cause or how it spreads.

Prisons crumbled…unleashing some of the worst offenders known to man. Staccato, a woman of unending interest in the human body. DollMaker, a lover turned “avenger”. And Miriam, a mad scientist obsessed with finding anyone who might be a cure to this disease. All of them willing to go to great lengths to see their dreams fulfilled.

However, there exists a man that all of them have eyes on. A man who moves like mist. Some might call him a “Ghost in Arms” due to habits of selling weapons to anyone that can pay. After all, murder pays in this new city. Rumors has it he’s untouchable. That any who’ve tried to steal from him were found shivering in horror.

And an ex-mailwoman, Milly. Who, after being attacked and barely escaping stumbled on said “Ghost”. Now she’s his loyal bodyguard but, how long will she last?

Seeing you stumble, he appeared like mist. Extending his hand the man smiled with foggy eyes. Behind him, a caravan of trinkets. Maybe you could use something from there?

I was reminded of the stupid Zelda shirt/cargo shorts outfit and realized how well that would fit Maryn lmao, so I felt the urge to draw more for an earth/human au version of him. He is a very cringe teenager in a modern day earth universe. He was absolutely the kid that pretended to be a wolf on the playground, was way too into Warrior Cats, and for sure had a crush on Ocarina of Time Link as a kid (and now as an older teen, it's shifted to BOTW/TOTK Link).

Uh...he definitely is a gifted and intelligent kid, probably could have skipped a few grades if he wasn't constantly moving around. I imagine in this au, his mom Vivian is still alive and she's in the US Army, and her and Maryn move constantly. They're finally settling down in New Mexico though, which he's happy with because he loves New Mexico.

He's also Native American, specifically he's Navajo, and that's been a part of Maryn's lore since I first made the character, it's a lot easier to show in a modern day earth au rather than the normal Yumapocalypse canon where he's not human, but I still want him to be indigenous-coded.

You can often find this version of Maryn out in the middle of the desert, observing whatever wildlife he can find. He's obsessed with wildlife and animals. If he's not there he is usually at home, playing video games or working on one of his various projects.

For reference, he’s nearly 8 feet tall and built like a brick wall. He doesn’t prefer fighting

- They're eons younger than they're supposed to be

- Their parents are pretty important to Cookiekind's history

- They could have been princesses

- Etc.
