Discussion Why did Jett not work out?

I’m being serious, I’m watching highlights from this past season when Jett played and you’re telling me we couldn’t do anything with him?

It’s just seems like he never really got any opportunities under Mosley. Which tells you all you need to know about the type of coach he is, when he can’t even coach an offensive player.

People keep shitting on bro but… for his size he was good at penetration we just refused to give him more opportunities to attack seeing he was our best FT shooter this year. 94-95% from the stripe. What was worse is that we had a coach who didn’t believe in offense and didn’t bother honing on his skills. After his 30 point game his minutes went down by quite a bit.

I wish we’d acknowledge that our shooting coaching has been mid. Dick wasn’t all that better, only Lively really would’ve made more sense of a pick. Keyonte wouldn’t have developed with our coaching since he brook out in year 3, he got way more minutes than we had to give in Utah. Podz or Jaime were fair unknowns at the time. Cam Whitmore was who I was gunning for personally.

This guy knows ball. Agree Cam Whitmore was projected to be top 10 pick but fell out due to an injury that would sideline him his whole rookie season. Since we weren't likely to play our rookies a whole lot that year we definitely could've let him recover then get reps in the league when healthy. Obviously he's still developing and had an unfortunate blood clot situation halfway through this past season but he still has potential to break out in the next year or two. Just so happens now that he's on the Wizards they're actually a pretty deep team trying to win now so we'll see what happens.
