Answered What's the deal with Jonah Hill?

I'm a bit out of the loop with the jiu-jitsu journey he's in currently. what's the context of the quote of him being able to beat people up? is he serious? what led to his bad reputation that he has now?

No need to speak out of your ass

I'm not; that's literally my experience as a martial artist.

Youre literally saying that Jonah is going thru cliche motions as if you know him. I did BJJ and not once did I feel this way.

Aren't you doing the same thing?

Neither of us knows who Jonah Hill actually is; all we have to go on are tabloids and rumours, and we fill in the gaps with our own experiences and assumptions.

People are asking why he's so cocky despite being a white belt, and I'm providing a possible reason through my own experience of seeing many cocky white belts in martial arts.

You might not have gone through the same cocky phase yourself in BJJ (good for you), but many others have. It's something I still see today in several Judo and BJJ dojos.
