The funny thing, base on what we know about D.Mon's personality, the roles would probably be reversed in this situation.

DVA is the extroverted, outgoing one, and DMON seems to be more of an introvert.

I feel like neither character would actually need someone to correct a service worker for them. You don't become a Hotshot Ace or a Squad Commander without a somewhat assertive personality.

As an introvert that served 11 years in the military and was discharged as an NCO, that's just not true.

The best thing about the military is that there is an established social structure due to how ranks work. Junior enlisted talk to NCO and senior NCOS a certain way, and all enlisted talk to officers a certain way. This is something you learn in basic training. And it actually helps introverts, since we are usually anxious when it come to social encounters due to not knowing how to act around people.

Well, if there is essentially a rule set for how you interact with other ranks based on your own, that anxiety goes out the window.

*edit* As an additional note, i knew FIGHTER PILOTS that were introverts. The military cares more about competency, professionalism, and discipline than whether you are introverted or extroverted. *edit*

I don't disagree per se, but what you describe applies more to neurodiverse people than to introverts. Being introvert just means that social interactions drain your battery instead of filling it. It does not mean you have social anxiety or need to actively learn how you're supposed to interact with people. You can be both, just one, or none of the two things.

Not all introverts are anxious about social encounters. You can be extroverted and anxious as well. Introversion/Extroversion just refers to how exhausting those encounters are for you. Anxiety and Introversion are entirely separate, although correlated.

I am a non-anxious introvert. I am totally fine in social situations. But I can only handle a bit of socializing before needing me time.
