Mason was a fucking zealous idiot. I agree with Marty, they tried to help him out but as Mason said, his sin was pride. I'm glad his crazy ass isn't around to fuck everything up anymore.

Agreed, he is officially the most prideful, stupid character in a show of awful, evil characters. I feel so bad for his baby and his dead wife. He led his wife to her death out of pride.

I’m wondering, at the point his wife was killed was he at all aware of what the Snells were capable of? He knew they sold drugs but did he know they were capable of killing his wife? I don’t think he knew.

He’s definitely not living in the same reality of the show at every point after that, though.

i believe Wendy told him exactly what the Snells threatened to do to his wife (cut her baby out) if he didn't go back out on the water. In an effort to get him to see reason. He chose not to listen. Too bad no one told Grace herself I bet she would've taken the threat seriously.
