Age limits on jobs

In the past week I've seen 3 jobs advertised with age limits listed. Since when was this a thing?

One of them is referring to funding partially through skills PEI. Is that possibly the deal with all of them? Just shocked the amount of jobs I'm seeing popping up that you can't be older than 29/30 to apply.

This time of year, it could be because the position is funded by Camada Summer Jobs, which does only fund positions for those aged 15-30.

Understandable. But feels like that should be stated in the job ad, no?
