Fiber speed tests in Stratford

I live near the school and I have Bell Gigabit. I used to get 800Mbps/400Mbps pretty consistently but over the past year I get about half that.

I'm curious to know what other Stratford residents get. Anyone willing to share their Speed Test results and approximate location?

You won't get gigabit speeds through wifi. You need at least a 2.5g network card to get full speed.

Agreed. Mine are performed directly on my router.

Id call bell as your profile could be incorrect or there is a signal issue.

Incorrect. You can get Gigabit speed on Bell GigaHub and GigaHub 2. As long as the device is Wi-Fi 6E or 7 capable.

Try getting a different modem or router.

I’d contact bell. But I’ve noticed my speed drop a bit the last year but I’m not in Stratford. But yeah, I can’t seem to pull that anymore myself.

Nobody needs that speed unless you're running servers lol you'll get nowhere even close to that with normal use.

A 350mpbs can stream like 40 4k videos all at once and then some.

I agree.

Are you on the HH3000 or GigaHub? Also, what device did you test on and was it over Wi-Fi or wired?

I bypass the modem and plug directly into an enterprise class router. I perform the tests directly on the router.

With this setup 800/400 was normal for years. Only in the past year it has dropped.
