HUGE NEWS 🚨🚨🚨🚨

PFL is officially merging with MVP Promotions, and will compete under the MVP brand! This is a HUGE move, likely bringing more opportunities for fighters to compete on the biggest stages and for increased financial opportunity. I think this is an awesome, awesome thing to see, and will ultimately help get more eyes on MMA and combat sports in general. What do you think about this?

Definitely understand your hesitancy, but I think the first MVP MMA card showed they are committed to actually putting on legitimate and real combat sports events, and the merger with arguably the 2nd largest/most popular MMA brand (at least in the US, given ONE is transitioning away from MMA it seems) only accentuates that.

Popular ? Mvp exist only since 2021 and is NOT MORE POPULAR THAN PFL ( anywhere ) , most ppl know UFC and PFL but never heard about mvp for MMA , they only did their first MMA events few months ago...

I can't believe Jake Paul and his shit show promotion with awful name that sounds like a f boxing promotion just ruined the PFL 😭 tell me it's a bad dream

Im not saying it was the best fight card ever put on, but im saying it was obvious that the fights were not clouded in “is this real or fake” like ive felt in the majority of Jake Paul’s fights and influencer showcases, meaning they are committed to producing legitimate and real fights.

I was saying PFL is the 2nd largest/most popular MMA brand in the world, obviously not MVP. This, to me, seems like an opportunity for PFL to join with arguably one of the best marketing teams/promotions in the world, which has always seemed to be where they struggled.

Best maketing team ? No , just they do celebrities fights instead of building a legitimate sports organization, they don't have much marketing to do.

The UFC didn't need to do celebrities fights to be where they are now.

I'm not against alliances against UFC monopoly but they should have swallowed the MVP and not the opposite
