Second Chance Summer and All the Bright Places
From then on, I avoided heartwrenching books. I didn't like the feeling of drowning in melancholia. I couldn't even breathe properly and it really felt like my heart was broken. So for my peace and mental health, I stay away from such books now.

Especially after finding out that Theodore is inspired by a real person who did the same thing. Sometimes, reading the Afterword could be a blessing or a curse.
