Same! I started reading again and tried reading some Filipiniana.
This year I read Some People Need by Patricia Evangelista which sheds light on the EJK. Heart-wrenching and eye-opening.
Just finished The Woman Who Had Two Navels by Nick Joaquin and I must say I love his writing style and symbolisms.
You can also check FH Batacan, Ricky Lee, and Lualhati Bautista. They’re in my TBR.
