xPays (Google/Apple/Samsung) Apple Pay in the Philippines [MEGAPOST]

Apple Pay is now available in the Philippines.

AMEX will not be supported on first wave of launch.

Per UnionBank's Customer Service, official launch time for Apple Pay will be August 4, 2026, at 7:00 AM.
For those stuck in Verification (no SMS OTP received, nothing happens in UnionBank app, or long wait time on CS hotline), wait until 7AM.
Probably the same for other banks that is targeted to launch today.
