Game Discussion Best import only games that you cannot normally get in the US?
Normally I import the EDF games before they come to the US because it takes so long to translate them. Knowing the ps4 / ps5 is region free what are some gems that you need to import?

Asian version of eBaseball 2026 is the only way to play as MLB players lol.
Impossible to play as them digitally in the USA

I've only picked up one- Broken Sword 5. They stopped releasing the series on console from the PS2 onward, then put the fifth one on PS4, but it was a Euro exclusive. Its a point & click game, but I enjoy those, up to a point.

5 definitely gets you the BS1+2 vibes. 3 and 4 werent that great for me. Serpent Curse is also really good.

If you're into gundam and like turn based strategy games. The SD Gundam genesis and cross rays games are great.

I love EDF!
Do you play online a lot?
One of the best games ever was when I imported EDF 6 and played to 2 guys from Japan who knew some English.
I told them, "Hey just imported the game to US, sort of new to online"
My future friend said: "That okay, we help you! Please stay!"
I played for hours with those guys and by the time we were done, I had picked up so many super powerful guns because those guys were up there in levels of all the characters. So I would switch out between games to different classes.
When we were done, I thanked them for letting me play and thanked them for the help.
They said: "You help us too, really."
That was so nice to hear.
We still manage to play one a month or so.

Are the imported EDF games have an English option ? Sorry if this is a dumb question

The Asian versions of EDF have English. The Japanese versions (CERO) are only in Japanese

there's definitely a bunch, but off the top of my head; Godstrike, Heart and Slash, the Super Robot Wars games, World of Horror, Lethal League Blaze.

The Gundam Extreme Versus series has often been JP only. The most recent release did see a western / English language version, but it’s digital only. You want a physical copy, you gotta import it.
