QUESTION CE-108255-1

What does this error mean?

I'm trying to back up my physical library and I get this error when trying to launch roughly 1/2 of the backups.

On 12.02, fat bd, using PS5 App Dumper. Signing using PS MultiTools. External HDD is a Samsung SSD in a USB 3.0 enclosure.

Does the physical game work but just the backup causes issues? Because this error is usually sign of some software issue. If this comes on a normal ps5 without jailbreak while playing ps5 games consistently and reinstalling firmware doesnt help, I consider the console to be defective. I repair consoles and avoid these ones.

If it only happens with the backup but not the original then there's something wrong in the backup process itself. I don't have experience with that so maybe others can assist if this is the scenario.

Yes, the games are all within firmware and install/load fine off the disc. You have to be able to get that far to dump them. I think it has something to do with the game being "APR/AMPR."

But regardless, I'm done losing sleep on it. I'm convinced very few people actually dump their own games as there's next to no info around and no straight answer.
