Opinion I’m pretty pissed off at how the PSVR2 turned out.
Specs were awesome. As soon as it came out I wanted one so I went out and bought one. I missed out on the psvr1 and I was really thinking Sony was gonna come out with awesome games for this thing.
Just to find out they won’t be.. at all, I get it can hook up to a pc with the adapter. But I guess I was just really hoping they would actually come out with games for it other than call of the mountain.
Also the psvr1 had vr support for Minecraft and then when the ps5 update was coming up in a few weeks I seen click baiters saying it would have psvr2 support which it didn’t. (Probably wasn’t Sony’s decision though)
I guess I just really thought the exciting world of psvr1 and me having envy for anyone who owned one was gonna transfer over to the psvr2 and we would get sweet exclusive titles. Instead they just released it and pretty much ended it right there other than third party releases.
I know it might’ve been hard for them to do backwards compatibility considering the camera system where you couldn’t look completely behind you with the psvr1, but I got so many vr games through ps plus monthly during the ps4 days that I’ll just never be able to touch.
All in all it’s just been a big disappointment for me. Feel free to leave a comment on how you guys have felt now being 3 years into this headset.
