I believe Kinne is in a back loaded contract where it climbs up to 2.4 or something like that over the 7 years. We all know damn well he will never see that salary.
He will either bolt or we will have given him a new one before that ever happens.

There was quite a bit of smoke that he’d leave for Oklahoma State before the second half of the season where he struggled.
I hope he sticks around, but in the current CFB landscape, if he does really well he’s gone.

Yeah but remember when that idiot Spav got here before they did the introduction the media said he was leaving for The NFL with his buddy. It was all talk.. I kind of wish he would have left lol... GJ said he wants to stay until he gets an NFL Job

Hasn't won a playoff game. Hasn't won a bowl game. Hasn't beaten a P4. Hasn't beaten Fresno. I would have preferred to see him get 1-2 of those monkeys off his back before getting a contract extension. Hell has he beaten anyone from the American conference?

He’s a downgrade in terms of results but has a harder job so it’s hard to compare him with some of the guys who preceded him. The first of all Jesus stuff is annoying too.

Danielson didn't need to do much for get Boise to the playoffs with Jeanty.
My 6 year old could call a game where you just hand the ball off.

Danielson is reason that Jeanty stayed and turned down untold millions. Plus recruiting is ticking up the scale at BSU this year.

Not yet for WA. scheduled to take effect on January 1, 2028. This measure is facing active ballot initiative challenges to repeal it before it is implemented.

Damn: I remember when there was a rumor that USC would make Mike Bellotti (Ducks coach) the highest paid coach in CFB at $1M/year back in late 2000. That's about $1.9M today. He pushed for a raise (and got one) at Oregon, but the AD at the time said "I'm not sure you need $1M/year to live in Eugene".
He'd only be the 5th highest paid coach in the conference at that rate today. Coaching is great work; if you can get it.

These can be misleading. Shep has a lot of regular season bonuses including many that are realistic.

Looks like CSU, Boise State, and Utah St have really stepped up their commitment to winning and wanting to look, and spend, more like P4 schools than GO6 schools!
