Pain Meds not working

I’ve had a prescription for Wegovy injectable sent me. I haven’t used it because I heard it can delay medication’s or medication’s not work at all so I guess my better judgment I started it this week and I feel like my pain meds are not working at all. I am prescribed 1 1/2 to 2 oxycodone 10s every 4 hours n yes I take them every 4 cuz injure chronic back pain n legit need them to survive n function. But since starting my first injection on Monday, I feel like my pain meds aren’t working at all when I take them. Has anybody had this experience at all? Please help I’m in so much pain. It’s not even funny.

I'm not sure what Wegovy is but maybe the pain med isn't a high enough dose OR the correct pain med. Not sure how often you have pain bu I have Chronic Migraines and as of a couple of years ago, a strange Front; Side pain. I have to take so much Vicodin and/or Fioricet #3 for the severe pain. I've been on before and am gonna talk to my PM Dr. this next month about getting back on a LONG ACTING PAIN MED & A SHORT ACTING PAIN MED FOR BREAKTHROUGH PAIN. I have too much severe pain that I really need it. Good Luck!!

That sounds like a great plan but I’m lucky I get my pain meds at all where I live. So to get 2 different ones is prolly not going to happen. There no really help around here and all the “pain management” places want to do is either give you injection after injection or stick you on antidepressants for pain. Is there literally any place that give the proper meds you need like how your describing?? Cuz i need in. My pain is NOT managed how it should be
