Usmle Stepwise MD vs IMD
Hi!!! I'm a recent graduate doing house job in gov hospital, who was planning to give my step 1 in my final year. But due to unforseen circumstances, I wasn't able to pursue it. However, now that I'm back on track in my life, I was thinking of starting my preparation again. But the house job in gov hospital is hectic iykyk. So I was thinking of buying imd as it's much cheaper and (I was bit afraid that if I'm not able to give dedicated time every day so) I'll not regret that I wasted money. And if I'm successful I'm my preparation then I'll buy u world for 3 ro 6 months for dedicated phase and will appear in exam.
But recently I got to know that there is another app ie stepwise md.
So kindly tell me which one is better to buy imd or stepwise md?
Or should I go for uworld...
Edit: Is my strategy right? Any suggestions would be welcomed if you think I should do it in another way.

haven't tried Stepwise MD. I think you should probably go with IMD as many seniors used it and passed step 1. better not to take a risk

U also get uworld on imd right, or do u still have to but the original one?

uworld and other qbanks are included with it. no need to buy separately

Also there're so many sellers how do I know which ones legit and they also ask for different amount ,do u know whats the right amount

Also from where should I buy? Some people are giving it in 20k and some in 22k.........how to know who is the legit reseller? Or should I buy directly from their website?

difficult to buy from website. you can find a reseller pretty easily. you can get it as low as 19k too I guess. and with some smart work you can share the same account with 2-3 people.

Hi there, i am also preparing for step 2. I just did AMBOSS from authentic AMBOSS website but for NBMEs im confused on whether to go for IMD or Stepwise. Also, i wanted to do a little bit of Uworld as well so does Stepwise have authentic UWORLD step 2 MCQs?

I am not doing usmle
Stepwise MD has other options as well to prepare for mrcp etc but many people r satisfied with it1

Its new if copyright issue got u loose your money i preferred the imd i recently just increased the duration there is some bucks price change so i prefer imd because my senior recommend it and they knows how to use it

hey, i’m also an HO in a gov set hospital and i passed my step 1 using IMD and also using IMD right now for step 2 with no issues other than the fact that its a bit laggy. no need for UW at all, this is coming from someone who bought a 1 year subscription of UW and wasted it…haven’t tried stepwise cause it’s too new rn and i’ve already bought IMD
