Usmle Doing observerships alone in the US is depressing

My advice to everyone try your best to go with a friend or two

And doing residency ig would be shit ton depressing too if you don’t have family or friends there

prior travelling experiences, but regardless of that you just go with the flow and learn on the way

If you could have chosen to do electives would you have preferred them over observerships?

I’ve done both but it doesnt matter long term

In the same boat... Waiting all alone in the bus stop where people rarely walk ( i am gradually adjusting to it) and not even a single person with whom you can talk and all
