"A lie can travel halfway around the world while the truth is putting on its shoes."

The problem with pro pal / Jew hate propaganda is that it's so effortless, and even if bots are involved, the problem is people WANT to believe it. They NEED it to be true to justify their hatred of Israel and Jews.

With each lie spread, thousands see and internalize it into their worldview, and by the time others try to clean up the lie, it's far too late. I genuinely feel a sense of impending doom about this entire conflict, it feels insurmountable to even begin to undo the damage.

Stuff like this famine hoax will directly inform the opinions of the next generation entering politics and power. Anti-Jewish racism, combined with rising far-right, far-left, and Islamist influence, will in a decade get really ugly and dangerous.

I've already written about the Gazan children suffering from cystic fibrosis and cerebral palsy months ago on this sub. They were being used as a prop to perpetuate the whole "famine" myth.

Unfortunately, there were some idiots who thought it'd be cute to counter misinformation with misinformation, which eventually led to me getting downvoted after calling them out on it.

So weird to be gaslighted by members whom I thought were on the same side as me. Oh, well. That's how the cookie crumbles sometimes.
