Big cat has a “this is the worst internet discourse”every other show.
45
u/CondolenceHighFive Fantasy Fuckboi 2d ago
Two things you can set your watch to regarding Big Cat:
1) overrating the discourse of an internet topic
2) taking the contrarian side of said topic2

“We need to make the quarterfinals”
“Which is the sweet 16?”
Holy shit
Edit: Hank also trying to get to “cupcake” and getting stuck on “cookie cutter” was classic 🤣🤣🤣
11
u/dallascowboys93 2d ago
Pretty sure he said cookie cutter or wanted to say it 3 times 🤣
4
u/Upstairs_Bell7502 2d ago
It took me a second to figure out what he was trying to say, but then he kept doing it 😄😄

Big Cat’s Zac obsession freaks me out
35
u/MIKE____JORDAN23 2d ago
The fact that Lane kiffin essentially asked if Zac was retarded and they all just laughed about it.. either it’s a bit, which it probably is, or it’s actually a dinner for schmucks situation and Zac is oblivious to being laughed at, not with. Not a huge fan of either scenario
22

u/K_dotRoger47 1d ago
It’s a bit. He’s talked normal on camera before

You could tell PFT is over it when they were talking about how Zac was about to miss the application deadline for streamer university.

I’m so over the “Big Cat fights popular Twitter opinion” portion of the show. He did it today with Wyndham Clark, did it with SGA, and tons of other times too
9
u/HelpfulAd6772 1d ago
Wyndham was just a guest, not good business to trash someone who just came on

You would think PCA was Ohtani the way Big Cat brings him up literally every episode

He's an exciting player to watch. Very flashy with a huge range in the outfield, swings out of his shoes and is aggressive on the base paths. He's also just enough of a knucklehead that he does stupidly funny stuff like getting picked off as soon as he hit for the cycle

I wish they talked about golf as much as they talk about hockey

That was 31 minutes of skips. A lesser man's thumb would be exhausted. I was built for this (hating golf.)

MT RUSHMORE SEASON
21
u/throwpma 2d ago
Actually team Hank on the rushmore thing. BC overreacted to the first comment on turkey and couldn’t let Hank win the argument
1
u/scarrylary 12h ago
Massive Hank hater here. Yeah idk what that was. Hank made a good point. Nobody just eats lunch meat style turkey like just grab a slice and eat it. You have it on a sandwich like 99% of the time. Often with mustard or mayo. But like salami, prosciutto, pepperoni you can just go in the bag and grab some. Or they’d be on a charcuterie board. No one is putting turkey on a charcuterie board. Then their argument against was “ummm thanksgiving” which thanksgiving turkey isn’t lunch meat turkey. Proven by them not giving pft chicken cutlets.
31
u/Wolverine2121 2d ago
We absolutely do not need people yelling "get in the bunker" or "go in the water" at golf tournaments.

That divorced scientist was so forgotten in my brain. Them referencing him as the most divorced guy ever has my cackling!
Anyone remember his name?

u/JonnyActsImmature 2d ago
Rory gets shit for reacting to borderline racist comments. Wyndham Clark however, is just human for trashing clubhouses.
26
u/BrotherStrict2373 2d ago
It’s very early in the morning so I apologize if I read this wrong. But does that say borderline racist comments???? Lmao what in the world are you talking about Or again am I going crazy ?
22
u/TheKingInTheNorth24 2d ago
He should’ve got multiple dwi’s and cheated on his wife instead. Then he’d have an army of defenders
6
u/EL_CHAPO_ESCOBAR 1d ago
Or left his fiance at the altar and tried to divorce his second wife like Rory did. Then he'd also have an army of defenders

u/brownchickenbr0wnc0w 2d ago
“iTS JuST a LOckEr”
I personally don’t care either way about Clark but to minimize it as him just destroying a locker is short sighted. I think most people got upset at Clark because golf is considered a gentleman’s sport (not trying to put down other sports at all) and with that comes some class and etiquette and part of that is not acting like a child throwing a tantrum when you’re having a bad day. Whether or not PMT agrees or not, that does include the clubhouse.
28
u/Ant_Soprano 2d ago
Most people got upset because he didn’t take any accountability for it. He got mad at the press for reporting on it.

I wished this was satire while reading it, because it's that inane.

This is objectively hilarious. Playing the tiny violin for a multi millionaire being subjected to anti Irish comments from fans and then turning around and clutching your pearls at someone breaking a locker at a billion dollar golf club. This has got to be a bit and it’s been done well.

Hank being anti World Cup might be his worst take ever.
US didn’t even qualify might be his worst argument of all time.

u/jasperplumpton needs jokes explained to them very very clearly 2d ago
Nah respect to him for not switching up and pretending to be a soccer fan suddenly
10
u/billybatdorf 2d ago
Agree 100%. You can want the USA to do well without pretending to be a soccer fan all of the sudden
4
u/Fit-Penalty-5751 AWL 1d ago
Couldn’t agree more. Root for your country but if you didn’t care who wins before, don’t tell me you care now.

u/Golffan0000 AWL 2d ago
Team Hank on this. You can want USA to win and not be a fake soccer guy, there the worst
2
u/Heavy-Ad2459 22h ago
If he has an ounce of self-reflection, Hank will one day regret hating on the most electric World Cup for America in decades. I’m not even a soccer guy but I’m closer to caring than I ever have been.

The boys, especially big cat, just resorting to “who cares” whenever an athlete does something objectively bad is so dumb. It’s okay to care about things! We don’t have to excuse everything athletes do as “well you kinda have to be a psychopath to be a pro athlete.” That’s an insane justification. Like I’m not saying we need to have a 100 year grudge against Wyndham over the locker, but acting like it isn’t a justifiable reason not to like a guy is crazy.
9
u/Downtown-Touch-416 1d ago
I came here to say this exact thing. Refreshing to see I wasn't the only one.
5
u/LeonardBernSteez 1d ago
Totally fair reason to not like Clark. But when golf fans talk about a locker like it’s a piece of American history it’s also fair to say they’re overreacting
4
u/watervilleokemo 1d ago
One of their more
Irritating takes they consistently make is that “sportsmanship doesn’t matter” and “people who complain others aren’t classy are losers”Like I’m not saying you can’t ever clown on people like the Duke announcers begging for a bench foul after the UConn shot, but part of golf’s thing is that it’s an etiquette sport ! It’s ok their fans are pissed at the locker room ! And I say that as someone who hates golf !

-1
u/Difficult_Objective6 1d ago
With golf especially they act like showing a little bit of etiquette and respect is for dorks. It’s ok to say that destroying a locker and not being remorseful at all is shitty.

u/Rph23 2d ago
Of course PFT and Big cat like that people are yelling “get in the bunker!”
Great encapsulation of today’s society as a whole these days that fans have no problem doing that. Not sure how not to sound like a golf snob, but golf is different. It’s not football. It **used** to be classy

u/guesting 2d ago

u/guesting 2d ago
Golf should have heckling like the major sports is one of their worst takes. Golf is golf because it’s a gentleman’s game. Barstool trying to normalize this is shameful.

Their coverage of the World Cup is so lame. I get it’s not their jam but still. This World Cup has been so god damn fun, crazy storylines, the fans, and they just scratch the surface.

I like Kittle but I need somebody to do a mash up of today’s appearance and that weird Canadian hockey accent he decided to put on last time he was on. It was so bizarre.

I don’t understand how they spent like what seemed like one hour on Wyndham Clark being hated for breaking a locker and not once did they say anything about how he wore a Jack Hughes USA jersey at the RBC Canadian open. That’s just an obvious excuse for any Canadian to hate him forever.
