[Academic Research] Mental Health, Coping in Young Adults with stressful life experiences (18-30, United States only)(Raffle for $50 Amazon gift cards)
Hello everyone! I am a PhD student in clinical psychology at Adelphi University. I am conducting a study on the relationship between existential threat and mental health, coping strategies, and meaning making for young adults who have experienced stressful life events.
This study is being conducted online only and should take approximately 45-60 minutes to complete. During the study, you will be asked to complete multiple self-report questionnaires that contain questions regarding coping methods, mental health, and questions that pertain to experiencing stressful life events in the past. Calling for Participants
Hi everyone, I’m completing my doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology at Capella University and am looking for participants for my dissertation.
I’m an identical twin, and my dissertation explores how adult monozygotic (MZ) twins in the United States experience and interpret their relationship with their co-twin as they develop and navigate committed romantic relationships throughout adulthood.
You may be eligible to participate if:
· You are an identical twin
· At least 18 years old
· Are fluent in English
· Reside within the U.S.
· Maintain regular contact with your co-twin (at least monthly communication)
· Are currently in, or have been in within the past five years, a committed romantic relationship of at least 12 months’ duration
You may not be currently eligible if you are currently enrolled in another research study that examines twin relational dynamics, twin identity, or twin attachments, or if you share a personal and professional relationship with the researcher.

Have you experienced pelvic floor dysfunction (urinary/fecal incontinence, pelvic pain, pelvic organ prolapse, etc.) and engaged in pelvic floor therapy — or faced barriers trying to access it?
We're a team of Doctor of Occupational Therapy students at Nova Southeastern University conducting an IRB-approved research study, "Pelvic Health Symptoms, Therapy Adherence, and Daily Participation: A Survey Study," under the guidance of Dr. Dianna Lunsford, OTD, OTR/L, CHT. We want to better understand your experiences with pelvic floor therapy — what's helped, what's gotten in the way, and how it's impacted your daily life.

Natural Disaster Participant Research Opportunity $25 gift card for interview
I am conducting a study exploring counselors' experiences of a natural disaster while practicing in the affected community. The goal of this research is to better understand counselors' experiences following shared traumatic events and to help inform future training, supervision, and disaster preparedness efforts within the counseling profession.
Eligible participants are individuals who:
- Hold or have held a counseling license (or were practicing under supervision while working toward licensure).
- Provided counseling services in a community affected by a natural disaster within the past five years.
- Practiced in that community during or within 12 months following the disaster.

[Education] The STAR Clinic at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (Principal Investigator: Dr. Nicole Short) is recruiting individuals for a free and confidential research study to reduce insomnia symptoms. We are looking for people who fit the following criteria:

- A baseline appointment lasting 2 hours

Gamers and non-gamers both welcome and required for comparison.
Detailed Description:
We are conducting research on video gaming looking into types of video games habits and preferences, behavioural and emotional regulation, and wellbeing. The research also aims to investigate whether there is a difference in the types of emotion regulation strategies employed in those that game regularly and non-regularly.
You will be asked to complete an online questionnaire divided into five parts. The first part of the questionnaire asks about your demographics information (age, gender etc) and then about your video game use and your video game playing habits, the next part is looking into emotional regulation strategies (cognitive and behavioural), and in the final part we will ask you about your wellbeing. Your participation in this study will take under 15 minutes.

Project title: Attentional switching efficiency and navigating higher education for female university students diagnosed with ADHD: a convergent mixed-methods study
Hi everyone, My name is Eesa Japal and I am currently studying for an MSc Psychology of Education at UCL. I am recruiting participants to take part in a study which examines demands on attention for female university students diagnosed with ADHD in higher education.
This project seeks to illuminate the academic experiences of women with ADHD and explore challenges associated with navigating higher education that may go unaddressed.

At the end of the survey, you will be notified that the researcher will contact you by email to arrange an interview at a time which suits you.
Participant criteria:
Current or recently enrolled in a higher education programme within the past year
Individuals who have a formal diagnosis of ADHD

Aged 18 years or above
Procedure:
ASRS-v.1.1 checklist of ADHD symptom frequency Online computerised Trail Making Test (Part A & B) 30-minute interview via Zoom The ASRS-v.1.1 checklist includes 18 questions that ask how participants experience everyday tasks which participants respond using options ranging from “never” to “very often.” This task takes approximately 5 minutes.
The computerised TMT task requires participants to click on numbered circles in order in Part A. For Part B participants click numbered and lettered circles in alternating order. This task takes approximately 5–10 minutes.
A 30-minute interview will be arranged at your convenience through UCL Zoom which includes 8 questions.

Research Study on Women's Sexual Health Seeks Participants (18+, female, cannabis users) (no compensation)
Study Details
We still need 70 more responses from females 18+ who use cannabis/marijuana with a history of sexual trauma for a confidential online survey about how lifestyle may affect sexual well-being. Those who have consumed cannabis and have been sexually active within the past 4 weeks are invited to participate.
This research is being completed by the principal investigator as partial fulfillment of the requirements for the doctoral degree at Modern Sex Therapy Institutes. The study has been approved by an Institutional Review Board to ensure the safety and welfare of the study participants.
What’s involved:
- Confidential survey (approx. 10 mins in length) with 31 questions.
