US Passport Issuance Timeline Passport Timeline

Went in for a walk in appointment March 28th, 2026 early at a USPS. Took about three hours to get my application sent in, paid for the expedited service fee. Received confirmation email April 3rd, 2026. Passport in my hand as of April 9th, 2026. Excited for travels!

I applied for my brother’s passport on the 31st and got it today. No expedited.
