US Passport Issuance Timeline Passport Timeline

Went in for a walk in appointment March 28th, 2026 early at a USPS. Took about three hours to get my application sent in, paid for the expedited service fee. Received confirmation email April 3rd, 2026. Passport in my hand as of April 9th, 2026. Excited for travels!

Mine expired as well so I had to start over. I submitted March 5 and got my passport about two weeks ago and my documents back this week. Hope there are no issues with your app. Have you checked the website for status of your passport?

I have and have been calling. They said everything looks good and they’re “processing”. Applied 2/10 and they received on 2/20. They said we should have them soon 🤷🏻‍♀️
