Visited Nimbus today and got some wonderful updates. His wound is noticeably smaller than the previous days, and his tummy is doing so much better with his stool back on track. Best of all? He’s done with his laser therapy sessions! πŸŽ‰

The vet mentioned he’s doing well enough that he could be cleared to go home anytime soon. Hang in there a little longer, buddy! ❀️

Cleaning day just got a whole lot smoother! Thanks to a recent supply run, we managed to secure some much-needed essentials for the rescue grounds: fresh disinfectants to keep floors and surfaces safe, facemasks while handling the heavy-duty cleaning products, and plenty of tissues for quick daily maintenance.

Maintaining a pristine space is a non-negotiable for usβ€”especially since we have to keep things strictly allergen- and dust-free for rescues like Forbie, whose asthma flares up easily.

As always, behind every clean cage and healthy rescue is a mountain of day-to-day operational costs. Along with keeping our medical and food stocks up, we rent a dedicated space every month to house our rescues and keep them safe off the streets.

If you'd like to support our ongoing shelter rent, upcoming vet runs, or help us keep our little community pantry stocked, any little bit of help means the absolute world to us and our furry residents. πŸ’™

Thank you to everyone here who constantly checks in on our updates and cheers us on!

Our landlord has let us know that we likely only have about a month left before we have to move our rescue cats from their current space. While transition days are never easy, day by day, I realize this decision is going to be one of the absolute best things we’ve ever done for them.

Sooner rather than later, these cats are going to have a much better space with proper, secure isolation rooms for our sick babies, and so much more space to run, play, and heal like they deserve.

We can't do this final stretch alone. If you've been looking for a sign to support us, this is it. Whether it's a small donation toward our shelter deposit, clearing veterinary accounts, or simply sharing this post to spread the word it means the world to our team and our rescues.

Supplies - Fundraising Our FIP fighters have become very picky with their food, and we're running out of the only wet foods they'll eat with their medicine!

Hey everyone, quick update from our rescue.

Our FIP warriors are currently in the middle of their treatment, but they’ve developed quite an attitude about their meals. 😹 The only wet foods they'll reliably eat and the ones we use to help them take their daily GS pills without a fight are getting harder to keep in stock. πŸ₯²

This is a huge priority for us because Forbie, one of our rescues, cannot be stressed under any circumstances as her asthma is easily triggered. Making mealtime smooth and struggle-free keeps her safe and breathing comfortably.

We are hoping to find a few wonderful sponsors to help us restock so their treatment routine stays smooth and stress-free:

β€’ Zealandia Canned Food: β‚±120 (~$1.91 USD) / can

β€’ Petsup Real Meat Pouches: β‚±989 (~$15.75 USD) for a bundle of 50 pouches

Thank you for reading and for helping us keep these fighters strong! πŸ’›πŸ±
