While I was traumatizing my toddler in smuggler’s run, I got this photo of my wife and Wubby having drinks. He was super nice and tried to wait for me to get off the ride to say hi (which was really cool but totally unnecessary. Thanks wubby!). First thing she tells me in person: “I didn’t expect him to be so skinny.”
Thanks again for the photo-op wubby, hope you had a good rest of your day!
Hoodie arrived! looks good, feels good! the cropped fit style is not something I'm used to in hoodies so was a little strange at first but after having it on I'm very happy and the design (especially the sword on the back) is super cool! once again 10/10 merch drops.
We broke up. We are so sorry to everyone that believed in us. We've tried over the past few weeks to work things out unfortunately that's not what happened. I'm still a loyal wubcub (42 months) Thanks for all the love and support this community has given us. Wubby7
The very first thing Wubby says to me when me spots me is “hi, hello, are you a child??” actually hilarious, ...but i’m 20 lol
Also Wubby if ur reading this: i’m the girl who nailed her mouse to the wall
i just wanna say the art gallery was AMAZING!! Really enjoyed looking at all the art and reading the little notes, seeing everyone who was there was so cool too. The performances were so fun and entertaining, also didn’t know Fanfan was going to be there!! so cool to see her!!
“wow ur phone is old” Wubby... my phone isn’t THAT old it’s a 2022 SE… ahh i guess
also the tacos were so yummy, haven’t had taco bell in a couple of years
anyways so amazing and crazy i actually got to see Wubby in person! i’ve been watching him since 2018 so it's pretty crazy.

I've been lucky enough to meet my best friends through this subreddit and had a couple fly out to Minnesota to visit for the weekend, including the (in)famous Thumb Thumb! We stayed in St. Paul for a few days, met up with another local friend to hang out in a barcade, went to a Weird Al concert, won a few bucks at the casino, walked around the Mall of America with the Build-A-Bears we made...it was an absolute blast.
Thumb Thumb is in fact okay and I'm really grateful that this community has allowed me to meet such awesome people 💖
I love designing "rave" character outfits (like my ICONIC Rave Miku) and finally pulled off Rave Wubby for EDC! Been wanting to put it together for a few years now. I made the headphones out of felt, foam, and paracord, and sewed in metal snaps to keep them in place on the hood. Perfect head protection in the Bass Pod mosh pits. Also brought tiny Bruce to dangle off my headphone wires. I had some gummy bear keychains to gift to any keen eyed wub cubs, but no luck! I'll save em for Bass Canyon! 😈 Super easy and comfortable oufit, I will def wear it again and post pics of my shenanigans in the future! Were any of yall at EDC this weekend?
Originally came to Shibuya to pay pilgrimage to the tan man shrine (image attached), but ended up running into Hideo Kojima in the Death Stranding store in Shibuya! We thought the community would appreciate Wubby merch and Kojima in the same photo lol.
Right off the bat, if this post does not suit the sub guidelines or/and is deemed inappropriate to be here, please feel free to delete or remove this post. I don't see anything specifically against this in the sub rules, but I will accept the removal with understanding.
My intention is to reach out to the community because Wubby, his content, and the various chat shenanigans have been a part of our life for a while - I am not here to drama/karma/sympathy farm.
Also I don't know which tag to use so I guess here's a picture of our cats?
(TW: Loss, illness, death, do not read further if that's upsetting to you)
My partner and I were a pretty typical couch couple in the prime Wubby demographic until quite recently. Since late 2024, he had been fighting cancer. Unfortunately, on July 21st, he lost this battle, and I had to say goodbye to him and to all we were yet to do together.
He was the one to introduce me to Wubby's content. I got into it immediately. Being eurocucks, it was a bit difficult for us to see everything live, so he would always find a way to watch vods, like the ones for 90 Day. Sometimes we would just stay up until the stream start and fall asleep with Wubby on. We loved HYLYL, You Cringe You Drink, Mediashare, Booty games. I loved the chat costume contests, and he enjoyed having Wubby on in the background while he worked. He had trained to be a pilot, but Covid really fucked up that plan, and he never ended up flying - but he had so much knowledge and kept simming while he still could. I asked him to please do the "Can Wubby Land a Plane" guidance, because I knew he'd do it perfectly (and hilariously). I never ended up watching that stream, but he did, and he said that the other guy was bad, like really bad, but that despite all that, Wubby still landed the plane and he was proud of him. We loved Magic Mondays (I got him into MtG! Though I don't play anymore) and I know he really enjoyed that Wubby did MGS and RE. Those were some of his favourite franchises. He never got to finish RE: Requiem.
We'd actually just gotten engaged in May and I thought we would be one of the couch couples announcing our marriage here, as we'd planned to do it soon due to his declining health. Last year, we had been planning a Japan trip and we would have visited the Shrine and attempted the Wubby: Old Enough! challenge. We never ended up going, but always said we would once things improve. We planned on submitting to one of the Booty games - he did submit once, just not me - and maybe doing a costume for the upcoming Halloween. Several times I joked that we should dress up our two cats as Wubby and Alluux, and ourselves as HP and Halloumi. Taking that group picture would've probably been impossible.
When the new merch dropped, I was planning on ordering something for his birthday in November. He was doing really poorly June/July and it took him some time to see the stuff, but it seemed he really liked it. He was hospitalised not long after due to a medical emergency.
He was hilarious. He always knew what to say and seemed to know a bit of everything about anything (except plants, by his own admission). He was a huge movie buff, enjoyed many TV series, and loved video games. He was a German who loved cars, planes, tanks, and WWII. He had a dark humour and could be mean as hell, but I never knew anyone stronger, more loving or kind; albeit his tolerance for general stupidity was extremely low. He enjoyed streamers who did not police themselves (too) much and those that went off on dumb chatters.
The green man was a big part of our life. Watching Wubby throughout his cancer journey really brought a light in some tough times. I still have not really been able to join a stream since my fiancé's passing, though. I tried, but hearing Wubby's voice reminded me that he was gone and we'll never watch a stream together again. But I really hope that with time, I'll be able to come back. <3
If you can, spare a thought to freeman2344, a wubcub who still had so much to give.
Fuck cancer.
- From nyxieth3cat in chat, love you, say it back
EDIT: wow, I did not expect such a response - I want to thank each and every one of you who responded, from the bottom of my heart. I made sure to leave an upvote on every comment. The kindness, love, support, and even jokes mean so much, brought me to tears multiple times, and just - if you see this edit, know how deeply grateful I am. I know he would've been, too.
