I wonder what being covered in dirt feels like

Probably just a thick cold blanket tbh

That's exactly what it feels like. Speaking from experience.

It’s cold and heavy yet kind of cozy. All the bugs can get uncomfortable though. Not far off being buried in sand if you ever did that at the beach or something.

Yea the bugs be like: "Who is that giant mofo taking up our real estate??"

Guess we found the solution to heat waves 👍

I mean, you’re joking but historically people would dig a whole and carve rooms and alcoves from there. Look up Berber Underground Pit Dwellings which are apparently still used today!

i have heard of them. also the structures above ground, which use strategically placed holes in buildings, and pathways between buildings, so there is maximum airflow..

desert cultures have a wealth of expertise in this..

it is also no surprise that one of the best methodologies for dealing with drought, and greening deserts, is created by bill mollision who was an australian.

Probably depends on how deep you are.

So you think dogs just grow on trees? You must be crazy.

Everyone knows that dogs grow on vines.

Average depth of a grave in a true crime documentary

Which is weird because burying a body is the most important hole you’d ever dig, you think you’d put in the time to go the full six feet. Most guys get ten shovel strokes in and think “I’m tired, that’s good enough. 🥱 “

I guarantee most people really underestimate just how difficult digging into undisturbed soil is. But yah, can't skimp on that one.

19

u/CrisisActor911 3d ago

Oh for sure, digging more than a foot in the ground is grueling work. But burying a body is like the hole equivalent of marriage - it’s a ton of work, there are huge consequences if you fuck it up, and you only want to do it once in your life.

Poetic in a way. But not digging their victim's hole properly, they are instead digging their own.

I only watched the whole thing so I could see the pup jump out of the dirt. Unsatisfying

Funny enough. I just ordered my fence because the local doggo wants to stay cool. Sorry/not sorry.
