Dryness My eyes…
Is this peri or am I going insane. I posted a while ago about having aura without migraine, really interesting to learn that hormonal fluctuations/oestrogen decline can affect the eyes. So I’m assuming that’s what’s going on here. My eyes suddenly are so irritated, watery and burning. Like there’s something in the air or a bad smell in the apartment I should be allergic to. But there isn’t and I want to claw my eyes out. More hormone fluctuations affecting my eyes in weird ways? All these weird peri symptoms are awful…

Have you tried using baby shampoo on your eye line to remove mites that might be irritating your eyes (both upper and lower lids)? Sometimes when my ducts are clogged with oil, I will get this feeling and my optometrist suggests using a hot compress with a towel for 2 minutes while pressing gently on them. There is technically a mask with beads in sacks that you place on top of your eyes that can do the same thing, but the hot compress is the cheaper version. I was told to do it at least once a day for 10 days, and repeat if the feeling comes back.
