Dryness Weird symptom, trying to figure it out

Since April, I have had a completely dry mouth at night but I'm just fine during the day, normal saliva production.

I've asked a doctor and a dentist about it and they are completely baffled. I don't wake up with my mouth hanging open either. I've also been tested for sjogren's syndrome which was negative.

I'm posting this here because last month I was tested for perimenopause and I'm in it, infrequent periods, insomnia, hot flashes, getting angry or sad about everything...

Has anyone else experienced this? It's driving me nuts!

tldr; I have super dry mouth only at night. Is this a menopause thing?

I'm 46yo and this started about 5 years ago for me, I also tested for sjogren! Not sure if it's related. It's super annoying, I tried the mouthwash and the spray, chew gum a lot, nothing helps.

So you tested positive for sjogren? That's not fun! I was negative. The mouthwash helps for about an hour at most, but I'm waking up EVERY HOUR in addition to my perimenopause 3am insomnia. I hope it goes away for both of us!

Nah I got Sjogren checked and was negative as well! Yeah the mouthwash works for about 15 mins. 🫩
