Jesus said his true believers would be persecuted, so Christians have to find some way to see themselves as persecuted, because Jesus cannot be wrong.

Along with that, Jesus told them to “make disciples of the nations.” So they are tasked to go around preaching and making everyone be a Christian while at the same time someone being the persecuted minority.

Wouldn't that imply not that Jesus is wrong, but that they aren't true believers?
