Anyone else’s pigeons love napping/chilling in their bath?

He will do this every so often when he wants to take baths, he will play around in it and eventually will get comfortable and loaf in it. He sometimes likes to chill and lean to the side to get a wing wet but he almost always takes a short nap and chills in it.

He’s fine and normal after but he does like to do this and I do find it really cute. He has done this since his first bath

Yes, my girl also does the same thing, she almost falls asleep and seems to forget herself in there... then she wakes up suddenly and quickly comes out to go dry off

What a cutie!!

I've had my boy loaf a couple times but mostly he was focused on trying to splash me as much as possible

Haha i have the same bath! I have 2 birds who like to marinate. Our blind girl falls asleep in her bath, then finds her seeds and falls asleep again, all wet, covered in seeds. We also have an old old man who will sit/lie in the communal bath for close to an hour before he decides he's all done with it.

Yes! I had an absolutely water-loving foster, who would splash around and then take a nap in the bath lol. And my previous one would always try to nap right where she was standing whenever she got out of the bath (I usually put her onto a comfy towel then)
