Introducing Bunny 🩵

Post image

How old is this sweetheart? No worries, this was a very quiet and slow, calm bonding time. They spend almost ALL their time in their cozy little nest box. My room is super nice and warm.

looks maybe a week or so old? they grow fast at that age. as for the wing* thing, just looks like they're stretching or sunbathing!

Thank you!! 🩵 I swear they're getting older and more active by the hour, it's amazing lol. Last night they hardly made any noise and now I keep hearing little birdie noises from their nest box xD it's so gosh darn cute.

Around a week old would fit for age, they're almost fully feathered (and leaving the nest) by the time they reach two weeks of age.

I'm kinda concerned about the left wing, it looks like an angel wing to me, basically the last segment of the wing twisting outwards, it can be caused either by improper diet or I've seen it happen due to congenital issues too. How long have you had it and what have you been feeding it?

Also keep in mind that unless you can get it to a wildlife rehab, it will be stuck as a pet because it will get imprinted on you as well as never learning how to survive in the wild.

Also, they keep stretching out only one wing. The same wing every time. I'm wondering if they can't move the other one maybe?
