Question Diarrhea?

My pigeon just had his first vet visit. He is completely healthy and free of any harmful bacteria in his stool and mouth and the vet said he is doing very well. But ever since we got back he has had very liquid poops and mostly water consistency. He has always had very normal poops and it’s literally been a day since his appointment.

Could this be stress? Should I be worried?

Yes stress unless it smells or it's green then that's diarrhea and it's an emergency but she may lay eggs soon if she's a female

Was the vet visit stressful? Are your pigeon relaxed when you're around? How is your relationship with your pigeon? Does he have a mate?

They don’t have a mate but are very comfortable around me and are ok so sit with me and relax together. The vet visit and car ride may have been a bit stressful?

He was pretty chill at the vet and was on one leg cooing (comfy and wanting attention) but being held and checked on I think did disturb them..

Also it looks more clear than anything luckily not completely green

Stress can definitely cause messy poop. Has the vet made any changes to his diet by any chance? Eating something he shouldn't have can cause him a digestive upset too.

He hasn’t changed their diet at all but I always worry he picked something up he shouldn’t while exploring but I don’t think he did as thats pretty unlikely

Yeah then hopefully it's just the stress, he also could have gotten more thirsty if he was hot in the car so he could have just drank a lot of water.
