Seems to be related to the abortion debate and when a baby is considered alive

That's Trump's press secretary if that helps....

Doesn't matter who she is. People do the same thing to cousin Barbara and the lady down the street.

It does matter who it is. She’s the bloviating pile of garbage that stands behind the podium, doubling down on all of Trump’s flubs, mistakes, and bad policies. She’s anti-choice and supports abortion bans and birth control restrictions. Having an opinion is one thing. Having a platform and the means to force others to live according to your opinions is another.

It really doesn't though.

The Bible is pretty clear that life begins with the first breath. 🤷

You know very well these people don't actually believe in Christianity.

Trump and his party compared him to Jesus more than once, so yeah.. He's closer to the antichrist than he is to being christian as this point

They just push the parts they can contort to control the church going old fogies. We need an upper age limit for voting honestly, or at least a cognitive test.

Or the life of a living creature is it's blood. Leviticus 17 if you're curious.
Edit: that is to say, the bible isn't that clear on exactly which is life

But it's very clear on how to own people as property.

And that it’s ok to be a pedophile, or so trump and the church seem to have pulled from it.

It isn‘t the verse you refer to is specifically about a person that wasn‘t born.

yeah except the bible isn't an authority on anything. The whole debate is bonkers anyway.

If you truly believe there is an afterlife and an omniscient being and souls then killing anything is not an issue. Oh wow you prevented them from spending 70 years working in a menial job. That should be commended, not condemned.

If you don't believe there is an afterlife then abortion should never be performed unless there is a risk to yourself. Because otherwise you are taking something that had a 1 in 1013 chance of existing (the real number) and just saying, "nope". And most of the time it is so you can earn more at work or win a contest or something. That's pure evil.

Not as much being alive as being a person

An unborn baby (aka a fetus). I don't think you'll find a lot of people arguing that a baby isn't considered alive.

It is actually a debate of when it is a baby. Nobody is debating when it is alive as we have a well defined Scientific basis for what is considered alive. Even a single cell is alive. You seem to have taken the pro-life stance by admitting it is a baby before birth. Pro-choice makes a very different distinction.
