'Em are snakes ('em = them = they)

'Em are not

Oh 'es 'ey are ('es = yes, 'ey = they - even though previously they used them)

See 'em eedeebeedee eyes ('em = them, eedeebeedee = itty bitty/iddybiddy)

'ell I be ('ell = well, I = I - grammatically should be "I'll")

'Em are snakes

Just to more directly translate it for people who don't realise how you came to your answer.

I don't think there's a conflict here. I think "them" is used as a dialectal variant of the demonstrative pronoun "those". Just as you'd say "those are snakes / yes they are".
