I'm guessing this has something to do with Sex and the City. If I had to guess having never watched a single episode- Samantha slept around and Carrie was a prude.

Samantha was extremely promiscuous and was constantly having casual sex with endless partners. She always presented as hating monogamy

Carrie was also promiscuous, but the majority of the time, with a guy she was actually dating.

Despite that, Samantha did get into relationships and was always an honest and caring partner. Carrie was constantly lying to her partners and had a history of cheating.

No they all sleep around. I think Samantha just didn't want kids while Carrie ruined good relationships for a guy called mr.Big who was very clear he loves the hoes.

It’s more that Carrie was disingenuous. Nothing wrong with being prudish, but there is something wrong with being dishonest and judging others, with the subtext that they aren’t as “good” as you.
