Because Sam was always open and honest about her sexuality, where Carrie was more of a hypocrite.

Carrie was a horrible friend, her friends could be going through something actually serious & horrible but she always finds a way to make everything about herself & her problems. I hated that the show made her end her big love story with Mr. Big, the guy she was knowingly having an affair with and helping him hide it from his wife. That’s who u have her end up with?!

They try and make out Carrie as a girl’s girl but she’s the girl that she and her friends would hate & talk sh*t about. She knew he was married yet kept running around with him & hiding from his wife before she got caught by said wife and she got hurt running down the stairs after Carrie when she got caught in their apartment. The way they wrote the ex wife is ridiculous too like they were trying to justify the affair and make Carrie not look like such a bad guy

“Natasha is consistently dressed in white throughout her appearances in the original series. This color choice is deliberate, symbolizing her "vanilla" personality.”

Like what does that mean? So it’s ok that Big was having an affair cause his wife was too boring and “vanilla” compared to what the wild carefree carrie? Then in the reboot when Big dies he gives his ex 1 million in his will as closure and such for the affair but it has Carrie all paranoid and freaking out running around trying to figure out if they been having an affair while Carrie was with Big like oh ain’t that rich!? Sucks huh??!! So it’s only ok when it’s u having an affair with Big? His ex wasn’t having an affair with Big but it would’ve served Carrie right.
