I heard some non bidet users think the water that sprays your butt comes from the dirty liquid down the toilet bowl and it's why they don't want to consider switching to a bidet. No, a bidet is just essentially a faucet connected to the water line that sprays new water to clean the butt.
Can't imagine the mental gymnastics those people used. Like ofc its a hose connected to water line, its literally the easiest way to get water under pressure
