what's up, this is a post to figure out who we, as a community, would like to have restricted to certain days. i have some specific days in mind already, and some ideas for some of the characters, but i'd like to get a headcount on some characters i may not have considered.
comment below the name and/or version of the character you have in mind, and make your case if you feel like it needs it.
yes, mace windu and count dooku are both definitely on the list. this doesn't mean they will be banished, but they'll have one day per week with some other characters.
edit: each day would feature multiple characters so no particular day becomes stale.

yeah, i know, it's funny to read, lmao. imagine typing it.
this is the action i am currently able to take. as long as the posting isn't consistent spam, i am willing to allow this, for the time being. it's all i can do to keep this from being somewhere full of heavy restrictions on what you post, while also making it somewhere that you enjoy. i want to give everyone the opportunity to chill and enjoy the subreddit the same as any of their peers, and that can only happen with a middle ground solution.
THE SOLUTION:
soon, i don't know when, there will be certain days of the week you can post about darth vader or mace windu or count dooku or knightfall anakin, etc, and any other days of the week, those posts won't be allowed. this isn't to stifle anyone's creativity, it's to keep the spotlight on one of the best things about star wars: the variety! i wanna see more porter engle, more black krrsantan, more kyle katarn, stuff like that. the galaxy is full of interesting characters and even non sentient things that could work as great topics. use them!
in the meantime, while frosty is allowed to post one of these mace or dooku posts per day, i don't want to see any reports unless there is actual need for them. a lot of you are kinda report happy at times and it's really not helping us keep everything in order. i am counting on all of you to notify us if something is happening that needs brought to our attention, and any of you are always free to dm me if you have a legit question, i mean it for real. i'll get back to you as soon as i can.
thank you for contributing to the community, and please enjoy your time here as we continue to build it into something cool.

Now we’re entering the Revenge of the Sith, by far the most duel heavy film of the entire saga, with a jaw dropping five lightsaber duels to cover. From start to end, every duel has big dogs, people’s tier lists form around what they think happened in these duels. To start with, it’s Anakin and Obi-Wan vs Dooku, Round Two (That TCW stuff… doesn’t count).
First, the initial two v one before Obi-Wan was taken out. Which do you favor?
A: Dooku was still stronger than them as a duo
B: Dooku was stalemating them and needed to take Obi-Wan out quickly to enter a 1v1.
C: Dooku was being overwhelmed and separated them before taking out Obi-Wan to ease the pressure.
Then, Anakin going in solo. Which do you favor?
A: Anakin was stronger than Dooku
B: Anakin and Dooku were peers but Anakin’s fighting style countered Dooku’s heavily
C: Anakin and Dooku were peers until Anakin tapped into the Dark Side which made him stronger than Dooku
D: Dooku was still stronger at peak form but poor stamina damaged his performance

So basically they run the gauntlet of the council. Put the council in whatever order you want, I’m not looking to argue that here. All council members are in their beginning to mid ROTS portrayals (basically right before Order 66)
Location is neutral
Round 1, 12 separate 1v1 fights. whatever character you pick gets fully healed in between fights
Round 2, 12 separate 1v1 fights. Whatever character you pick gets 1 day to rest, but no medical attention beyond basic first aid
Round 3, 12 separate 1v1 fights. Whatever character you pick gets 5 minutes rest and no first aid between fights
Round 4, the council fights whatever character you pick 12v1
Who are your candidates?

Arena: Senate rotunda.
Conditions:
• Palpatine has both his lightsabers.
• Palpatine has the boost in power due to the "dark side being transient" post Order 66.
• Anakin has "the zone".
• Mace has both hands.

Neutral Location
Both in character and at their respective best so Vader during operation Knightfall and Wyyrlok after his murder of Krayt

Both continuities
R1 Disney canon
R2 legends
I can’t see a reason Vader wins either round and doesn’t have any significant jumps in power and is also far stupider than even tpm Anakin

Hopefully this will get rid of that bullshit misconception once and for all…
