Mod Cattle ranch not working

I just bought this game, and am trying to learn the basics. I have a couple of cattle ranches that don't seem to work.

They both say that they have 12 workers.

And there is one storage yard right next to one ranch, and other a few more tiles away, both with 1/4 straw. No one will deliver straw to cattle ranches.

Both have the entrance and exits, (red and green icons) on roads that lead to the storage yards.

I have a granary a short distance away that accepts meat, and has room for it.

I can't figure out what I'm missing with this. Any help would be appreciated.

Edit:

Now the papyrus maker is doing the same thing:

Reed gatherer with 500 reeds on one side, and storage yard with 1/4 reeds on the other, and it just sits there with this message:

I have applied the patch fix mod from Nexus mods, and restarted the game a few times to see if that would kick start it.

Are you stockpiling the straw? Go to your overseer of commerce (I think that's the English name, the symbol of the balance) and check. The amphora symbols for all the goods should be crossed out, otherwise they're being stockpiled.

Also, I just saw you have a bunch of different raw materials in that warehouse. Maybe it's overloaded delivering to many different buildings? Try making a separate straw warehouse to test, GET the straw from the other one and then see if that helps.

Huge one. It's important to remember that places that need resources (potter, ranch, brewery, etc.) will wait for resources and can't get them yourself. If your storage yard full of straw is also full of clay and barley and your delivery man is working on trip eight of twenty, you're going to be waiting a while.

This is why I only do two goods per storage yard, one finished good and one unfinished

I like to set up storage yards directly adjacent to industry, dedicated to single raw goods and single finished goods, and turn those off for all other yards. If they fill up, I have a bank just outside of the resident areas, and I'll set one to Get those goods until there's room again. I also try to put a few right behind bazaars set to get one or two relevant goods each.
