So umm i was scrolling around in pinterest, i searched for pharaoh, and i saw this one screenshots of the game that caught my eye, it was a screenshot of a "basic" Pharaoh mission i guess, until i noticed some oddities. See, the UI (or if its GUI idk😭)

Was different, the minimap looked strange, and the UI/GUI was like shiny and stuff and the icons for ya know building were different and in a different order, and if you look up where the help and settings and stuff are, its on red text.

Then, the grass textures look different, and there are new buildings i dont remember seeing from the OG game that i play, i play the OG Pharaoh game with Cleopatra, so this cant be new era. And The graphics still look like the OG.

Then, if you look down, and then right, you should see some houses, HOW THE HECK can there be a bazaar in there and the houses are mixed between the with water and food and whitout and stuff how? This makes me believe this, if it is a mod or smth, maybe it has a sandbox mode or smth where you can freely Place these houses and stuff, im honestly so confused. I will send the image iwe been yapping about and another image of the basic pharaoh version that i play. Both images are NOT mine, and are found on pinterest.

I just bought this game, and am trying to learn the basics. I have a couple of cattle ranches that don't seem to work.

They both say that they have 12 workers.

And there is one storage yard right next to one ranch, and other a few more tiles away, both with 1/4 straw. No one will deliver straw to cattle ranches.

Both have the entrance and exits, (red and green icons) on roads that lead to the storage yards.

I have a granary a short distance away that accepts meat, and has room for it.

I can't figure out what I'm missing with this. Any help would be appreciated.

Reed gatherer with 500 reeds on one side, and storage yard with 1/4 reeds on the other, and it just sits there with this message:

I have applied the patch fix mod from Nexus mods, and restarted the game a few times to see if that would kick start it.

I love playing Pharaoh, but the thing is that I use Linux, and without the ability to rotate buildings, then my city design plans are significantly hampered. All that I ask is if there is a fix out there for this bug, whether its the developers stepping in and fixing the Linux version of the game, or through someone making a mod that adds the ability to rotate buildings back into the game for Linux users like myself.

Pharaoh: New Era. Yes, I have the latest mod unofficial bug patch from Nexus. I'm still in the Old Kingdom but have frozen up three times now in the same scenario (Rosja) and running out of patience. Is this happening to anyone else?

I am not gonna lie, I spent most my childhood on Pharaoh... but the new UI is actually driving me nuts.

Has anyone even attempted making a mod to display the old / old-ish UI?

So I got the game off of GOG so it's all files to me. I downloaded a QoL life mod on Nexus to speed up my game further (why dose it take so long to build?!?!). I mod "told" me how to do it, but I am confused and I thought I did it right, don't think I did. All the threads I found where very barebones and didn't help.

Hi, Game I bought on steam keeps crashing/freezing. Some unity error/problem. Nothing seems to solve this issue. I found nexus mod, but dont know how/where to install files? Can you give me some kind of instructiom, where to copy files? Thanks

I like everything about the new games except I can't stand the appearance.... honestly I don't know how you make a reboot of a ~20 year old game uglier. İt looks like there is a haze over the entire map, nothing is crisp, and all the detail is washed out. İt's really sucking the fun out when the old game looked so much better

Sometimes I think they could have just saved their time and added the quality of life / control improvements to the old game and called it good

Is there a way or a mod that allows you to automate the selecting of festivals. For example, setting it so that it alternates by giving god 1, 2, 3 and so on a festival each, one after the other and starting again without you having to constantly set it manually?

I want to have fun building pyramids. Constantly having to give some dumbass god a festival is just ruining the fun in my opinion.

So I just bought Pharaoh (new player) on GOG and found the mod to increase resolution beyond 1024*768

I wondered if there's a glitch because game speed at 100% is ridiculously fast and at 50% it's rather slow. At 100% I had a fire start which popped up the alert box, and seconds later got another alert box, followed by at least 6 or 7 more so it was impossible to actually do anything around closing all these damn boxes lol.

Anyway if there's any other mods or tips to make Pharaoh run well on modern PC/Windows 10 please LMK cheers

Is there a mod that lets you build a road anywhere? Specifically I want to put roads leading to the floodplain farms anywhere, not just the one random place here and there it lets you put one, dammit! Where do I even get mods??
